About Otterly
Otterly started with a moment every parent knows: the first time your little one meets the water.
Most floaties hold a child upright, legs down and head up. It looks safe, but water-safety teachers call it the "drowning position" because it builds the opposite instinct to the one that keeps kids calm and safe. We wanted something better for our own family, so we went looking for a float suit built around the position swim teachers actually teach: the calm, horizontal back-float.
That is Otterly. A one-piece suit with 360° distributed buoyancy that gently tips your baby onto their back, keeps their airway up, and frees your hands so pool days feel calm instead of exhausting. UPF 50+ fabric, a snug fit that does not ride up, and sizing that grows with them from about 8 to 33 lbs.
A few things we always say out loud: Otterly is a swim-confidence aid for supervised play. It is not a life jacket or a life-saving device, and it is never a substitute for active adult supervision.
We are a small team a little obsessed with making the water feel calmer for the people who worry about it most. If Otterly does not make your pool days calmer within 30 days, send it back for a full refund. No drama.
